1. Where is the Maruey Knowledge & Resource Center (MKRC)?
 
The Stock Exchange of Thailand Building, 1-2 Floor, 62 Rachadapisek Road, Klongtoey, Bangkok.
- The Underground : Queen Sirikit National Convention Center Station, Exit no.2
- Bus : Bus number 136, Air condition bus number 136 and 185 both pass the SET

2. What are the opening hours?
 
Sunday - Thursday : 8.30 am - 11.00 pm
Friday - Saturday : 8.30 am - 12.00 pm




3. Who can access the MKRC?
 
Anyone who is interested at no charge.




4. Who can borrow the library' s resources?
 
Any library member. There are two categories of library membership as follows:

Category 1 (Gold Card) :

This category is for employees of listed companies, brokerage firms, government and government enterprises, and related organizations. Furthermore the following are required:
- National Identity Card
- Work Identity Card or letter from the office
- Refundable deposit of 500 baht
- Library member card 100 baht

Investors, students, and the general public and submitting the following:
- National Identity Card
- Refundable deposit of 1,000 baht
- Library member card 100 baht
 
Category 2 (Teen Card) :
This category is for investor. Following are required :
- National Identity Card
- Refundable deposit of 300 baht
- Library member card 100 baht




5. What resources does the MKRC have?
 
Printed materials :
Books, thesis papers, dissertations, research reports, seminar and conference documents, newspapers, periodicals, foreign institutional information, listed company information, securities statistics, rules of the SET, and SET publications

Audio-visual materials :
Videotapes, CD-ROMs, VCD and disc files

Electronic media :
SET Smart (SET Market Analysis and Reporting Tool), BISNEWS (Reuters), NEWSCenter, OPAC (On-line Public Access Catalog).





6. What kind of information from listed companies does the SET Library have?
 
Printed materials : Annual report, prospectus, tender offers to purchase securities, and business reorganization plans
Audio-visual materials : CD-ROMs with presentations of the listed companies, shareholders meetings, and seminars of listed companies
Electronic media : SET Smart (SET Market Analysis and Reporting Tool), such as listed company information disclosures (Form 56-1), company profile, financial statements, major shareholders, news by company, capital movement, trading sign, rights and benefits, etc.





7. What services does the MKRC provide?
 
Circulation, photocopy, printing information from the on-line databases, downloading financial statements and 56-1 forms of the listed companies, historical trading, and data requesed by telephone or e-mail.

Entertainment : music, movie and game.





8. Does the MKRC have the contents from seminars and conferences organized by the MKRC?
 
The MKRC services does provide this type of information. The information includes documents and CDs. Users can ask for this service at the MKRC.



9. How can the users of the MKRC search for books and other resources?
 
They can use the MKRC Library automation system: OPAC (On-line Public Access Catalog) which contains bibliographical record database of printed materials, audio-visual materials, and electronic media.
